How does the backup system work
Our easy to use program scans your computer every day and backs up existing files, newly created files and files that have been changed or updated. Once you have installed and registered the SafeByte software, our system will automatically backup your files every day. Just leave your computer on and connected to the Internet and SafeByte will take care of the rest.
What file types can be backed up?
Our system will backup all of your word processing documents (Word, WordPerfect, and Pages), spreadsheets (Excel, Numbers), presentations (PowerPoint, Keynotes) and .PDF's (Adobe Acrobat). Your files are protected via military grade encryption, the highest level of encryption security available today. Only YOU will possess the unique serial number and password to access your account.
How do I recover data from the backup server?
Using SafeByte, file recovery is simple. Just log onto our website, click on the Disaster Recovery icon, follow the easy instructions and you'll have your files back in minutes.
Who else will have access to my files?
Your data remains completely confidential. Even SafeByte will not have the ability to unlock or access your files.
